Indicators for evaluation of model performance: irrigation hydraulics applications

Several mathematical models have been developed for applications in the hydraulics of irrigation systems and several performance indicators these are used suggested by literature. Thus, objective this work was to investigate statistical evaluation hydraulics. For this, three case studies which represent typical modeling were assess indicators. A set analyzed: a) difference-based: mean absolute error, square root scaled percent error; b) efficiency-based: Nash-Sutcliffe Legates-McCabe; c) correlation coefficient ( ); d) determination e) index agreement f) Camargo Sentelhas g) graphical methods: regression error characteristic curve based on relative 1:1 scatter plot. evaluated cases, physical phenomena, differentiable similar measures it is appropriate report either or both indices.
